Travel sales in the first four months of the year remain stable compared to last year, but this is not due to a lack of interest in travel. Data shows that many customers have decided to wait for last-minute deals that allow them to save up to 60% on summer vacations. This trend shows how the shopping behavior of Czech travelers is changing as they wait to get cheaper prices.

The final price from January to April 2024 is CZK 51,000, the final price is CZK 51,000. Travel agencies have significantly expanded their range of trips, which have doubled. This growth is supported by the expansion of dates, the range of departure airports and destinations on offer, which indicates the dynamics of the market and the entry of new tour operators on the Czech market in the last two years.

The most popular destinations continue to include Egypt, Turkey, Spain, Greece, Tunisia, Bulgaria, Italy, Cape Verde and Croatia; Turkey has overtaken Spain this year.

The leading resort towns are Marsa Alam, Hurghada, Alanya, Side, Dubai, Santa Maria in Cape Verde and Hammamet in Tunisia. There is high demand for air travel to three- to four-star all-inclusive hotels, with strong interest in hotels with water parks and children’s clubs.

Martina Hrnčířová, Sales Manager of Student Agency Travel, commented: “One of the latest options are direct flights from Prague to Mexico, Bahrain and Cuba, as well as from Brno to Mauritius, planned for autumn this year.”

News including discounts for children. Travel agencies are continually expanding their range of destinations and adding more hotels with kids’ clubs and water parks to respond to travelers’ needs. On the Czech market, departures from Prague dominate with 61% of travelers, followed by Brno with 13%, Vienna with 11%, Ostrava with 5% and Munich with 4%. The changes include an increase in departures from Brno by 4% and from Ostrava by 1%, while the share of departures from Vienna fell by 2% and from Munich by 1%.
